Quick haul from today when I popped into one of the small towns I live near with my dad. Everything is from New Look and all items are linked!
Just your basic black ribbed cami! I need to stock up on items like this, just basic tops and camis that I can chuck on when it's a super hot day! I've been looking around for the sort of square / 90's neckline cami that was around everywhere last summer, but I never picked one up - so this is a great alternative. At £4.99 it's a no brainer really!

(they didn't have this version online so here's 2 very similar, including the one I actually want!)
'Pink? A dress? For you? A dress in pink? Are you okay?'
So those were some of the responses I got from both my dad and my best friend after telling them I bought a pink dress. To be honest, I'm just as shocked as them! It's so far out of my comfort zone but isn't that what spring and summer is for? If I'm not going to wear colour now in this glorious weather, when will I?

So funny story, I'd actually tried on and bought the first two items then as I was walking out the shop, I spotted this top (okay so not as funny as it should have been). It is literally the most cutest item I have owned and I'm so excited to wear it! It's detailing and high neck tie is just to die for, New look also managed to use silver hardware, so hats off to them. It's the perfect spring/summer top as you can wear it day to night, with skirts, shorts or jeans / trousers. I'm super happy!
This isn't online either so here's some similar 1 / 2 / 3

Okay so if you follow me on instagram, you will have most likely have already seen all these images ( as to why they're square) but I wanted to share, and kind of get back into all this???
So I haven't blogged in about 2 months and tbh I did have a reason and I don't? I think with most people who blog, there's days / times when you just cba. Work or uni takes priority and then you have to juggle a personal life and making sure you eat properly and get decent sleep - it all gets too much sometimes.
So my aim this time, until I finish my first year of uni (thank fuck) which will be the end of May, I'm just going to post occasionally, a bit like I am now. With some random photos and updates, so it's almost like a diary, and an outlet for me. Then when I'm finished with uni, I'll try to get back into more typical blogging perhaps, because I do enjoy it, I just need to be less shy about it all. (Any tips guys?)
I guess I need to stop worrying whether people actually read / enjoy my blog, and just do it because I want to do it!
