Winter Wonderland is here to stay until the 2nd January so I feel that sharing these photos with you, is still acceptable. I took them a couple of weeks ago when Lydia and I had a wonder around the magical festivities that were going on in Hyde Park. We didn't have tickets for any of rides, but just walking around and soaking up the atmosphere was enough for me.
Jumper : H&M
Jeans : Boohoo
Boots : Dr Martens
This outfit is making me feel so inspired and ready to get back into blogging... let's see how long that lasts!
Anyway this outfit is giving me major sassy / festive vibes and I'm totally digging it, if I say so myself. I never thought I'd be quite in love with a pair of ripped, sequin jeans, as I do right now. It's a total love affair and I don't care who knows it.
Teamed with a chunky jumper that follows the same tones as the sequins and denim, I think it helps calm the outfit down a little for an everyday look. I'm excited to work these jeans into my wardrobe and experiment a bit more with my style(s).
Stripe Jumper - Gap
Denim Skirt - Topshop
Church Boots - Dr Martens
This jumper is one of those items that I can't believe I own. It makes me think how much my style has changed and how much it's going to continue to change. It's no question that I hammer on a lot about not having a clue about how I want to dress or what my 'style' is, but for the meantime items like this make me happy.
It's most certainly a very good dupe of the notorious Gucci jumper that the likes of Alexa Chung and Alexandra Shulman have of course been spotted in. I'm currently finding it difficult to wear but I'm sure that has something to do with the fact I have to dress 'smart and minimal' for work. Somehow I don't think this jumper fits into those categories.
I am on the other hand excited to work this piece in my wardrobe, maybe layered underneath dressing, or with a pair of 501's? Let me know what you think by commenting below.
T-Bars - Dr Martens
Glittery socks - Topshop
First of all I need to learn to stand up straight, but in my defence it was raining when we took these photos. Anyway back to the outfit, this is my 2 trends in 1 outfit and I felt hella sassy.
I'm not typically one to follow trends and if I do then I like to work it into my existing wardrobe and make it suit me and my style (isn't that we what we all say?).
This ruffle tee has given me a new lease of life and it's so bloody girly. I don't know whether it's the 'Molly Goddard' vibes that I'm trying to squeeze out of it, but I love it and want to wear it all the time. I added a long sleeve top underneath due to the miserable weather but I like how it turned out and I'm excited to try pair different items together.
As for the culottes, I'm in love with these too! Normally I would've gone for black but as I have the famous pleated culottes from Topshop, I wanted to mix it up with this gorgeous deep blue colour. I can't wait to wear them for nights out during this festive season but also with baggy vintage tees and huge jumpers.
What are your fave new pieces?
